How to Learn Continuously | Super Learning Basic Guide - Qpidi

Super Learning is like going on a treasure hunt – it's fun, exciting, and you discover new things. But if you spend all your time looking at the map and not searching for the treasure, you won't find anything! So, let's get moving and learning.

Super Learning is based on Theory, Action, Reflection

What is Super Learning?

Super Learning is a holistic approach to learning that combines theory, action, and reflection to enhance the learning experience. It emphasizes the importance of engaging in all three aspects to maximize understanding and skill acquisition. Just as in a treasure hunt, where you need to read the map, search for the treasure, and then reflect on your journey, Super Learning involves a similar cycle of learning activities.

The Three Steps to Super Learning

  1. Starting with the Basics (Theory): This is like reading the instructions before playing a new game. You get an idea of what to do.

  2. Jumping into the Game (Action): Now you play the game. You try things, make mistakes, and learn from them. It's like learning to ride a bike – you have to get on it and pedal!

  3. Thinking About Your Game (Reflection): After you play, you think about how it went. What worked? What didn't? It's like after a bike ride, thinking about how to balance better next time.

Why You Should Do More Than Just Read

When you're new to something, don't just stick to the books. Imagine if you read about riding a bike but never tried it – you wouldn't get very far, right? The same goes for learning anything new. Start doing and trying, and you'll learn way faster. This approach aligns perfectly with Super Learning – a mix of reading (theory), doing (action), and reflecting, which leads us to discover our unique learning style.

Finding Your Perfect Learning Style

Just like some people like chocolate and others like vanilla, everyone has their own learning style. Some folks like to read a lot first, others like to jump right into doing stuff. The trick is to try different ways and see what feels best for you. Maybe you like a little bit of reading and then lots of doing. Or maybe it's the other way around! Identifying your learning style is a crucial part of the Super Learning process, as it helps you understand how you can learn most effectively.

Speeding Up Your Learning Adventure

Finding your learning style is all about trying different things and seeing what feels best for you. There's no right or wrong way to learn, just your way! 🌟 This exploration is a continuation of the Super Learning journey, where you're not just absorbing information but actively engaging with it in a way that suits you best.

Step 1- Think About What You Like

  • Write Down Your Favorites: Think about things you enjoy. Do you like stories, playing games, building things, or drawing? Your favorite activities can give clues about your learning style.

Step 2- Try Different Ways of Learning
  • Read a Book or Article: Find something interesting to read. Notice if you enjoy learning this way.

  • Watch Videos or Listen to Podcasts: Try watching educational videos or listening to podcasts about something you're curious about.

  • Do Hands-On Activities: Try doing something related to what you want to learn. It could be a science experiment, a craft, or even cooking a new recipe.

  • Draw or Use Flashcards: If you like drawing, try sketching what you're learning or use flashcards.

Step 3- Mix and Match
  • Combine Methods: Mix different ways of learning. Read a little, then watch a video, and maybe try doing a project.

  • Group Study: Learn with friends or family. See if you like discussing things with others or if you prefer learning by yourself.

Step 4- Pay Attention to How You Feel
  • Notice Your Feelings: While trying different methods, ask yourself: Did I have fun? Was it easy to remember? Did I understand it well?

  • Keep a Learning Diary: Write down what you did and how you felt. This can help you see which way of learning you liked best.

Step 5- Review and Decide
  • Look at Your Notes: Check your learning diary. Which methods made you feel excited and happy? Which ones helped you understand things best?

  • Choose Your Style: Pick the ways that worked best for you. Maybe you liked reading first and then doing, or perhaps watching videos and then discussing with friends.

Step 6- Practice Your Style
  • Use Your Style More: Now that you know your style, use it whenever you learn something new.

  • Be Open to Change: Remember, it's okay if your style changes as you grow. You might like different ways of learning as you try new things.

So, Super Learning is all about reading a bit, doing a lot, and then thinking about what you did to learn things really well!
