People in finance are waiting for the news of the FED these days. Recent days, FED decided to increase federal funds rate because of the inflation crisis and it creates some domino effect in markets. It was 75-basis-point and nowadays economist are waiting an 75-basis-point increase as well like before so we will see what happen at 3 p.m. in FED press conference.
Deciding to raise interest rates for the first time since March 2018, the bank also increased interest rates by 50 basis points, the fastest since 2000, at the May meeting.
FED will announce interest rate at approximately 3:25 p.m. in 27-28 July ET, speaking for just under one hour.
